Baluch Prisoner Mohammad Mandazahi Hanged in Kerman

HRANA News Agency – On Tuesday, July 26, 2011, Mohammad Mandazahi, son of Dadkha, was hanged in Kerman’s central prison. According to a report by Baluchistan Human Rights Activists, Mohammad Mandazahi was charged with drug trafficking. Mohammad Mandazahi spent six years behind bars and was sentenced to death without the presence of an attorney or his family at the trail. The Human Right Association further reported that Mr Mandazahi had been illegally imprisoned for six years and had no access to a lawyer and his family. He was eventually condemned to death by execution by a kangaroo court of Iran alleging him of being involved in business of illegal drug smuggling.

It is pertinent of mention that Iran often arrest Baloch political activists, subjects them to brutal torture under illegal custody. Their fates are decided by a Kangaroo court away from public sight and most of them will be accused of “Mohre” (interfering in business of God) and their alleged involvement in drug smuggling.
